Here are 7 reasons why Calcutta is my favourite mega city in India and you can say it with pride. Whether it's the awe-inspiring sandal, the beautiful architecture or the amazing food, Durga Puja in K Bengaluru is something that lies at the heart of Bengal. From the best city in India for 5 days Durgas puja and Navratri, to the most beautiful city in the world for the whole month of May and even the first day of the new year, K London is all the characteristics of a great city. Indeed, it now seems a far cry from the harsh and stormy climate that characterizes an Indian city, with Calcutta as an exception. There are so many places to visit in K Bengaluru, but the Raichak Victoria Memorial in Rabindra Sarobar is certainly one of the most beautiful places in the city that any couple must visit. Whether you're visiting the beautiful city of Calcutta, Prinsep Nagar or even the famous Ganga Ghat, you'll find some of India's most iconic landmarks, such as the Ganges, Hooghly River (locally known as Ganga) and Red Fort. In the northern quarters of this city, the stepping stone ghat is lined with giant statues and statues of gods, along with a beautiful view of the Hooggi River, a tributary of the Poojapur River and also a source of drinking water for the entire city and its inhabitants. This is one of the most beautiful places to visit, with a seductive tranquility that surrounds it, especially in the evening. Although this huge place has a lot to offer within its borders, the Science Center is a great place not only for children, but also for science enthusiasts and children of all ages. You can also take a look at the customs and amusing culture of the city, while the museums of Calcutta educate people from all over the world. Rest assured that your love for each other will grow ten-fold due to the incomparable beauty of Calcutta. [Sources: 8, 11]

Then there is the Birla Planetarium, which offers a romantic and interesting experience - an enrichment that is located right in the city. The purpose of Calcutta Photo Tours is to serve as a home for anyone who goes through Calcutta to go home and love this city, with a view of the beautiful city in all its glory. [Sources: 11, 13]

If you are in Kolkata, make sure you try local favourite Mutton Biryani at the famous Birla Planetarium or the popular Arsalan Taste restaurant. The best place to get a restaurant recommendation before you make your judgement is Ar salan - Taste of K Bengalata (or any other place). If you want to try some of the best local dishes, such as Bollywood-style Bajrangi, this is a good place for you. [Sources: 0, 3]

LBB Calcutta has much more information for you if you want to learn more about the culture of K Bengalata. Here is the full list of cultural associations and why it is called the Cultural Society of the City of Culture. [Sources: 8]

If the inhabitants of a city have a good name or nickname, it would be Kolkata, because its nickname is the city of joy. You will understand the intense joy that flows through me when I speak of it. When I try to articulate my experience with K Bengalata appropriately and tell others about it as the city of joy, what it has been since childhood, my words fail me. I am in love with her and I will never fail to express it to you because I love her so much. [Sources: 0, 5, 7]

When I talk about Calcutta, I make the conversation about it incomplete because food doesn't come into the picture. [Sources: 12]

The city jumps to have tasty plates of its biryani on Eid and of course all year round. If you have a sweet tooth, Mishit doi and Rosogolla will win your heart, as they are also a staple food for tourists. There is also a wealth of Calcutta delicacies such as bhajan, kabab, chutney, dal and even ketchup. Although it is a lovely city for Bengals, its cultural diversity and wealth is recognized around the world, and people from all over the world are connected to its city of joy. [Sources: 8, 12, 16]

It is one of India's best metropolises, but it cannot be viewed with large crumbling buildings. It was once part of the Lalbazaar in Central Calcutta and has since been moved to Tangra. Although one of India's youngest cities, it still yearns for past glory and wonder. [Sources: 2, 9, 15]

Calcutta has become the cultural and intellectual capital of India due to its extensive history and rich traditions. In the 18th century, India attracted migrants to what was then Anglican India, the capital of the British East India Company. The city remained the capital of British India for more than a century and was a centre for intellectuals and artists. Today, the city is home to the world's largest concentration of artists, writers, musicians, artists and musicians. [Sources: 1, 4, 9, 12]
